Eligibility for Refunds

You may request a refund if you purchased an annual plan and cancel within 14 days of the transaction date, provided no GST, TDS, or income-tax filings were initiated using the platform.

Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are non-refundable under all circumstances:

• Monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual subscription fees
• One-time document verification and DSC procurement fees
• Government filing fees and challan payments remitted to tax authorities
• API call charges and third-party integration fees

By subscribing, you acknowledge that these charges are incurred immediately and cannot be reversed.

Refund Method and Timeline

Eligible refunds are credited to the original payment instrument within 10-15 business days. We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or international transfer processes.

Exceptions and Discretion

We may issue discretionary refunds in the following situations:

• Duplicate charges arising from technical errors
• Billing discrepancies verified by our finance team
• Platform unavailability exceeding 48 consecutive hours
• Force majeure events preventing service delivery

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, follow these steps:

1. Email billing@filekaro.ai with your registered email and invoice number.
2. Provide a brief reason for the refund request.
3. Allow up to 7 business days for our team to review and respond.
4. If approved, the refund will be processed within 10-15 business days.

Refund decisions are final. Repeated refund requests without valid grounds may result in account suspension.

Subscription Downgrades

Downgrading your plan takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the current cycle.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our billing team is a violation of this policy. We reserve the right to suspend services and pursue legal remedies for fraudulent chargebacks.

Policy Updates

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
